A lot of people used CLS2 to move stock around your factories, some more adventurous people use CLS2 as a stock controller to move goods to a TL for storage.

If it can deliver goods to a TL for storage, why not configure it to refuel your working TL's? So whats needed? A decent freighter, my choice is the Caiman Hauler, its got decent speed and a cargo bay of fit it with, CLS2, Jump Drive and a Transporter device. NOTE: your CLS2 pilot will have to be trained to at least 'Cargo messenger' to perform these tasks see the stickies about how to train your pilots if needed.

The Settings: Waypoint 1: Select a power station preferably one that you own, or one that you know always has energy, or even any station that has energy to spare. Select - Load Jump Fuel dont forget set the refuel amount in the jump drive settings Select - Load - Energy then 'max cargo space'.

Your TS will now load its jump fuel and then load as much energy as it can. Note: do NOT just load energy hoping that will also count towards your jump fuel, because he just may deliver all the energy to the TL's, and that could mean a very long journey back through hostile sectors with no jump fuel!

Waypoint 2: Select your TL select — Unload select - energy select - UPTO and enter this command will make sure the TL receives at most energy cells and no-more so your TL will not fill up with 60, energy.

Repeat the 2nd waypoint for all your TL's in your fleet using a new waypoint for each TL I have 8 TL's in my constructor fleet. Now that the waypoints are set, you could start it straight away and it will work fine. So it would be better if it only supplied energy when it was needed lets say when it drops below half ecells, this leaves a good safety margin.

Once you have mastered this, you can use it on other ships that need constant refuelling, for example a M6 and its fighter wing that jump around your sectors protecting them, not only can it refuel but it can keep the supply of missiles topped up I use a Minstrel to supply fuel and missiles to 4 M6's each with 4 M3's thats 20 ships in all, and it copes very well.

Aug 10, Nice that somebody did my home work I was starting to think about how to feel up the TL easiest possible way, i have only 2 one is just starting mine HUB stuff before im even on that part but jumps and its must be refueled again manually by using m5 as x amount runs to SP and i had only one and started to get how the hell its done easier way.

Never used the CLS2 yet so its time to start use it. maybe because my empire is not vast and i just starting the Hub plot but havent even delivered microships jet.

Question, you can add new TL's for that one CLS 2 pilot later easy? and off topic, how is best way to setup or can it be done buy best buy, cls2 or commersial agent that it buys stuff from universum to your hub. The TS will make multiple runs if it doesn't have enough cargo space to fulfill the entire order at once. If you think that'll be a problem, dropping a couple of fueling stations, Trading docks that get filled with only e-cells by other CLS ships in areas around the universe.

The CLS fueler should go to the closest one to fill up.
